Q. I can't renew an item as it is 'on hold', what does that mean?

When trying to renew an item you get a message stating that the item cannot be renewed as it is 'on hold'.


This means that this title has been requested by another user.  You cannot renew items that have been requested, so you will need to return it by the due date on your record.
