Q. Can Alumni use electronic resources?
Some of our electronic journals and databases can be used by alumni on a ʺwalk-inʺ basis. This means you can access them on a dedicated computer terminal in the library. A list of resources that can currently be accessed via the walk-in access PC is available here.
In order to use the walk-in PC you will first need to register with the Alumni Office for an Alumni card. You will then need to register your alumni card with the Library so we can create a new library account. Staff at the library service desk will be able to assist with this during our regular service/staffed hours.
Users can book the walk-in PC in advance by emailing email@example.com, or telephoning the library reception desk on 020 7040 8191.
It is not possible for alumni to access electronic resources remotely due to restrictions in the various licenses we hold with publishers. However the Alumni Office can offer some limited access to e-resources via their website.
Please note that Cass Alumni should refer to the Cass Alumni Office for information on creating an Alumni account and accessing e-resources.
