Q. I have found the journal I want in the catalogue but I cannot get the volume I need. What can I do?

Answer

When we take out a subscription to an electronic journal we get a set range of dates that we can access. We don’t always get every volume of every journal. Typically we will get the current year of a journal and the last four or ten years, for example.

If you require an article that was published outside of our subscription date range then you have two options: you can request the article via Inter-Library Loan or you can apply for Sconul Access and visit another university library that has the journal volume in print format.
