Requesting items that are available on the shelf
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a fetching service (as a general rule) for library users if an item is available on the shelf.
Requesting books from another library
Clerkenwell and Moorgate locations (Northampton Square, Business and Law Libraries)
Requests can be placed for items when all copies are out on loan. You may choose your preferred Clerkenwell/Moorgate pick-up location.
If there are no available items at your preferred pick-up location, you may place a request for an available copy at another library location.
It can take up to 3 working days to transfer items between locations so it may be quicker to visit the library to collect it yourself if there are copies available.
St George’s Library (Tooting campus)
You cannot request a book to be transferred between Clerkenwell/Moorgate locations and St George’s Library.
