Read&Write is a collection of tools to support reading and writing. Read&Write is a toolbar which can be used with a range of applications, such as Word and web browser pages. One of the key tools is the text-to-speech reader.
Access on site
You can access Read&Write from any student Windows computer at City. You can launch it from the AppsAnywhere webpage which automatically opens when you login to the computer. A shortcut will then become available on your desktop and in the Windows programme menu.
Remote Access
Remote access to Read&Write is available for Windows users until June 2022. Please email subjectlibrarians@city.ac.uk for access to a temporary licence. If you are using the desktop version on your own pc, you may need to install a browser extension for the software to work with web content.
