E-books
Due to licensing restrictions, some e-books limit the number of people that can access them at the same time. Once an e-book is closed or times out the license becomes available to the next person to log in. If you are getting an access denied message when you try to access an e-book, wait a few minutes and try to access it again later.
Print books
If you want to borrow a print book that's not available, you can click on the red Request it button on the catalogue. This will reserve a copy for you and you'll receive an email when it's ready to pick up. It also tells the library that many people want to read this book, and we can take steps to make more copies available.
