Library Services are currently piloting a new ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) service at Northampton Square Library. These will be clearly labelled ‘hybrid’ monitors and are available on on Levels 2 and 3.

You can plug in your own device as long as it is capable of connecting to a USB C port, and library laptops can also be attached.  The hybrid monitor will give you the option of splitting between two screens or mirroring.

You can also charge your device at these workstations whilst making proper use of the connected monitor, but please do not leave your items unattended.

This is a pilot service and we will be asking for your feedback to determine whether we expand the number of hybrid stations across the floors and libraries.
