Citation and reference Tracking using Scopus 

Answer

Access SCOPUS database. Citation and reference tracking involves selecting key studies you have found and, for each of these, browsing studies that have cited them and browsing references that your key studies have used themselves. This may help you to find studies that you did not find through your database searches which are useful for your research.

  1. Select the Article Title field. 
  2. Enter the name of a study 
  3. Select the Search button.
    SCOPUS document search fields described in steps 1 to 3 in the list above.
  1. Check the numbered box next to the title of the study
  2. To view studies which have cited this study select the View cited by link
  3. To view studies this study has referenced select the three dot menu, and then View references
  4. To view other studies by the author(s) select an author’s name.SCOPUS document search results described in list steps 4 to 7 above.
