Viewing your results in Ovid

Answer

  1. Select the Display Results link, in your Search History, adjacent to the search results you want to view. Search History list described in list step 1 above.
  2. Each reference will state what type of study it is. This is displayed under the journal name in the reference.

  3. To read the abstracts of the results you have found select the Abstract link beneath each reference. Abstract link described in list step 3 above.

  4. If the full text for a reference isn’t directly available a red is it @ City Library? link will be displayed, to the right of the reference. Using this link will check if the Library provides full text access for that reference.

If there is no is it @ CityLibrary?, this means the full text is available directly by selecting the Full Text link.
