Finding grey literature using CityLibrary Search

Answer

You can search for grey literature using the Library’s own catalogue, CityLibrary Search

  1. Enter your search terms in the search field.

  2. Press Return or click the Seacrh button.
The City Library Search field described in list steps 1 to 2 above.

  3. There is a filters section on the left of the screen. In the Refine your search section, select the add results beyond your library’s collection checkbox, if you don’t want to limit your search to resources available from the Library.

  4. In the Content Type section select grey literature resources using the checkboxes. These include: report; newsletter; government document; dissertation/thesis; web resource; pamphlet; streaming video and data set.
The filters described in list steps 3 to 4 above.
