To make the most of CityLibrary subscriptions, install LibKey Nomad browser extension.

Having LibKey Nomad installed will allow you to:

  • see if you have access to an article through CityLibrary subscriptions as you browse the web;
  • find an open access version of an article that is not otherwise accessible through a CityLibrary subscription;
  • see links to articles that you can access when browsing websites like PubMed or the reference section on Wikipedia;
  • see a message if an article has been retracted;
  • see messages with instructions on how to access resources like Economist.com, New York Times, The Washington Post, Kanopy and others.
  • start an online chat with the Library wherever you see a CityLibrary LibKey Nomad's message.

How to install LibKey Nomad:

  1. Download the browser extension from LibKey Nomad website. Currently available for Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Vivaldi browsers.
  2. Select "City, University of London" as your organisation. You don't need to create an account on LibKey Nomad.
